4.9 A Tvcenter Dazzle When A Positive Number Is Divided By It's Reciprocal, The Result Is 4/9. What Is The Number?

When a positive number is divided by it's reciprocal, the result is 4/9. What is the number? - 4.9 a tvcenter dazzle

If a positive number of based on reciprocity that is shared, the result is 4 / 9. How many? I need help ... now.

Find the number (s):
x ² = 4 / 9
x = 2 / 3

Answer: 2 / 3

(Test result is 4 / 9):
= (2 / 3) / (3 / 2)
= 2 / 3 (2 / 3)
= 4 / 9

We have, therefore, is a positive number, we do not know what it is. Call this number x. Therefore, the inverse 1 / x.

So:

x divided by the reciprocal (1 / x) 4 / 9
x / (1 / x) = 4 / 9
x (x / 1) = 4 / 9
x ^ 2 = 4 / 9 the square root of both sides have

get x = 2 / 3 to (techinically 2 / 9 or -2 / 9, but the problem points to a positive number, so do not take a -2 / 9)

voila

I left this note: For some reason, many people have this question, finally take the square root answered. I thought to let you know that the answers are poorly written, and I quote Wikipedia:

"# Mutual, mathematics, number 1 / X, which is the product of x 1, is also known as mutual multiplied."
----------------------

For real or complex number x is not equal to 0, is the opposite of a number (1 / x). You can not divide by 0

The reversal of the reversal of the x = [1 / (1 / x)]. Multiplying the numerator and denominator of x does not change the value. So:

* 1 x. .............. x
------- = ------------ = X
(1 / x) * x. ......... 1

In other words:

Sentence (1) The reversal of the reversal of x x.

Since this is true, and the number you are looking for is x,

[1 / (1 / x)] = x = 4 / 9 and the answer is 4 / 9 ..... \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ U0026lt \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ u0026lt; .. Answer
----------------

Note: [1 / (reciprocal x)] is the inverse of the inverse of x, by Theorem (1), x.

In this case, 4 / 9
----------------

Let n = x
Its reciprocal = 1 / x

On request
(x) / (1 / x) = 4 / 9
or (x) * (x) = 4 / 9
or (x) ^ 2 = 4 / 9
Under the square root of both sides, we obtain
= X + 2 / 3 or x = -2 / 3
Ignoring x = -2 / 3 as n is positive, we
x = 2 / 3, the number is required
Now check your answer.
Reciprocal of 2 / 3 3 / 2
However, depending on the topic
(2 / 3) / (3 / 2) = 4 / 9
or (2 / 3) * (2 / 3) = 4 / 9
or 4 / 9 = 4 / 9
what is true.
Note that we are here * for the multiplication sign is used instead of X such that x. differntiate alphabet

Let x is a positive number.
Its reciprocal is 1 / x.

If we divide x by the inverse, we get x / (1 / x).
Is exactly equal to x * x = x ^ 2, which is the square of the number.

The result is 4 / 9, we have x ^ 2 = 4 / 9.
We get only the square root of 4 / 9.

The square root of 4 is 2
The square root of 9 is 3
Thus, the square root of 4 / 9, 2 / 3.

So x = 2 / 3. This is the positive number you want.

To divide a number by the inverse is the same as multiplying the number is off by itself. For a number x / y:

(x / y) / (y / x) = (x / y) x (x / y)

Therefore, if (x / y) / (y / x) = 4 / 9, then (x / y) x (x, y) = 4 / 9

In other words:

x ² / y ² = 4 / 9

This means that x / y = 2 / 3.

I hope that helps. Good luck!

Divide a number of its inverse is the same as the square. Your answer is 2 / 3.
